Located approximately 30km north of Isla Mujeres, Isla Contoy is an untouched tropical paradise island. It is protected by the Mexican government and was declared a National Park in the 1990s. It is home to a beautiful array of tropical marine life and birds. Enjoy the untouched nature while snorkeling, hiking or just lying down and relaxing on postcard Caribbean beaches.

What To Expect
Parque Nacional Isla Contoy
You meet at 8:30 am at a dock downtown Isla Mujeres.
From there you leave to Isla Contoy, you might be picking up some participants on the way.
We recommend to have a light breakfast before leaving as there is no food until you arrive Isla Contoy (the travel time is about 50 minutes). You have 2-3 hours on the island and are back around 3 pm.
While you are on the island you can go snorkeling (weather permitting), you will have lunch on the island (rice, beans, chicken fajitas, fish, salad, bread and chips). The drinks (water, sodas and beer) are included.
And you can join an optional free guided walking tour of the island. The duration of this hike is about 30 minutes.
