the main highlight for me is always joel, the shaman of the tezmacal. his ceremonies are sincere and beautiful, and i always feel great after I've taken part in it. snorkeling is fun, and the buffet is really good. i highly recommend this park but avoid the gift shop. my friend bought overpriced sunglasses that broke as he put them on, and the "manager" working wouldn't refund his money. very unfair.
We were unable to do the snorkeling because the waves were too strong and we both have compromised knees but the pool was warm and not too crowded , clean and the waitstaff was always coming around with drinks. The alcohol content was low but that’s good. We walked along the shore to visit the ruins, very peaceful and beautiful. The restaurant was buffet style, food was excellent. Zip line was a first and fun, not too intense. Highly recommend it. Eat breakfast first before boarding the 1/2 hour ferry ride.
I really enjoyed full day of snorkeling, relaxing by the reef beach with crystal clear water, and just overwelmed with the natural beauty of the place. Nice nice place to visit and people are very nice there as well. Thank you for the wonderful memories for my family.
Had a great time. Separate areas meant never having to worry about finding a table or lounge chair. Staff was fantastic and attentive. We have done the park 5 times at least... but the VIP is worth every penny. Had a great time. And a real bargain for a full day.
Toured Isla Mujeres by ourselves by renting a golf cart! This is the way to go as it is much less expensive than booking a tour. The ferry across is only $38. The golf cart is only $40 if you buy before you get on the ferry. One tip is when you get your receipt for roundtrip, do not lose it or you will have to pay more money for a return.
