Our instructor Mario aka Daniel Riccardo made our experience even better, he was very detailed and thorough of what the dive was going to be, safety precautions and how to react in different situations.

We've planned to try scuba for years. I did A LOT of research before our trip to chose this dive center and I was so happy with my choice. We were supposed to dive on a Thursday but it was cancelled due to wind. It was again cancelled on Friday. They were able to move us to Saturday. This dive center is BEAUTIFUL. We had seen it before because we had visited the coffee shop in the hotel. It's surrounded by hammocks and palm tress... a perfect environment to learn scuba! We watched a short video then got in the pool. Pepe, our guide, was such a great instructor. We were a family of 4 and I felt completely comfortable having my kids in his care as we went to the deep water. We first dove at the museum. We had seen it from the top via snorkeling but it's amazing from down under!! Pepe made sure we were ok the whole time. And Malek took the most amazing and beautiful photos! We then went to the reef and loved every minute of it. We love scuba, pepe and Pocna dive center! We will be back to get certified!!

Pepe took me and my girlfriend out for a trial scuba dive. He was an excellent instructor, really clear, calm, and good fun. When we got out onto the reef he let us swim around fairly freely (I know on some discover dives you have to hold a fixed line or the instructor won't let you out of arms' reach) while still making sure we were well looked after. The actual dive was great - we saw turtles and barracudas which I think is pretty cool for a first time dive! Would highly recommend Poc Na.

So good, my wife and I got certified back home after, and then we came back the next year (this year) for more diving! Looking back we should have gotten certified here as its much more affordable and comfortable in that water!
The Musa is fantastic to see once, However, the Reef is stunningly amazing and will keep you coming back! The reef's between isla murejes and Cozumel are the 2nd largest barrier reefs in the world!
All the dive guides are a great mix of locals, Argentines, & Americans that speak multiple languages very well and know the Musa and the local reef wildlife.
Tip: Best to Dive on a day that also follows a non-windy day for the best visibility! The Musa can be hard to find on windy days, even for the guides sometimes. (it takes about 24 hours for sediment to settle after breezy day!)
Video Tip: Don't forget to bring a GoPro and be sure to use stabilization with higher frame rates so you can slow down the footage for those dreamy underwater shots with the wildlife! Generally, footage tends to be much shakier underwater than on the land unless you have a double handle.
