Great PADI Refresher

I havenât been diving in 28 years and needed to recertify my PADI qualifications before Iâd feel safe on a dive. Sebastian took me and one young fellow through a thorough classroom discussion then, after a short 2-1/2 block walk to the beach, covered all basic safety procedures in about ten feet of clear water right off of the beach. Instructions were extremely thorough and easy to follow. Thanks Sebastian for getting me ready to go on todayâs reef dive.

The absolute best experience I could have hoped for. Pedro was my instructor. Itâs clear he enjoys what he does and what he teaches. Learn with him and you will love and appreciate the diving experience and learn to do it safely. Sharon was so helpful for trip planning. Overall, unforgettable 3 days with Aqua Adventures in Isla Mujeres.

Did my aow with this dive center, and a few dives with another one. Aqua Adventures were just slightly better on all counts, from guides/instructors to quality of equipment.

Really enjoyable Advance Open Water course. JasĂłn was a great instructor- getting the right balance of teaching and fun. Had some great dives, MUSA is a must as itâs very different from your typical dive sites. All the equipment was first class and the shop was very welcoming and helpful with our questions, plus they had two very cute dogs!

I'd like to give Pedro a shout out, he is a great instructor. Most issues were beyond his control.
On our open water dives, the equipment leaked, they had to change out gauges , not sure what all happened but I ended up with no psi guage or air guage , I was told it would be ok just keep showing me your guage,this was a bar Guage I had no knowledge of . I should have cancelled the dive I know it is my choice, but I wanted to be certified.
We made the dive the other students had leaking gauges also. It was very stressful, hard fro me to relax.
No one was injured but their equipment needs to be rebuilt.
Also I was told I would be certified to 60 feet the deepest dive they do is 25 feet, so never expected decompression stops, or safety stops. I will book another company to teach me.
They are nice people, but didn't feel safe at all. Probably a great company to use if you have your own equipment, and just want a shallow water dive.
