Aqua adventures team were super helpful, friendly, welcoming and patient as we completed this course and successfully qualified as open water divers. Cannot speak highly enough of these guys.

Excellent experience!!! Instructors are knowledgable, friendly, animated, and most importantly patient. I highly recommend using using Aqua Adventures Eco Divers, had the BEST experience of my life!!

We spent 3 days with Pedro, day 1 doing our confined skills in the bay where you can put your feet down. Day 2 and 3 doing 4 9.8 metre (if I remember correctly) dives in total in the reefs and underwater museum. Pedro was calm, funny and informative, he was encouraging, firm when needed but he just wanted everyone to have fun. He was excellent. I've told my sister to ask for Pedro when she visits Mexico in May this year to do her Open water PADI.
He was also eco conscious which is a big big plus for us, making sure we didn't disturb the sand which covers and kills the reef, picking up litter on the dive, etc.
Everyone else on board was lovely too, the captain and the other dive instructors were very accomodating and friendly. Especially when I got sea sick! (Take Dramamine the night before). The onboard pineapple was so delicious.
The only thing which could have made it better (not in Aqua Adventures control) would be if the beach and boat music was quieter. I didn't realise how loud music would be underwater, how far it would travel, and how disturbing to marine life it is. It made us worried for animals like whales. Like I said, nothing to do with Aqua Adventures as it wasn't them playing music but it really got us thinking that beach and boat music volume should be globally regulated.

I used aqua adventures eco divers to do my check out dives for my open water certification. I like them and diving so much I went on and completed my AOW. These people are top notch. Sharon and holly were extremely fast in replying to our emails which is on of the reasons we chose them. My instructor Pedro was fun and extremely patient. My first dive he was instructing four of us but i never felt like I didn’t receive more than enough time and instruction from him. The other dive master on the boat, Marco and boat captain Wilbert always made us feel safe on the boat and had a lot of fun with us. It was definitely first class service!!! We definitely felt like family. If your going to dive in Isla Mujeres then make sure it’s with these guys!!

10/5 stars! I’m a PADI instructor and I bought my dad here on vacation to learn to scuba and do a week of diving. Admin were very clear and communicative to help us design our perfect diving week, guides and boat skippers were incredible caring, talented and knowledgeable. Pedro certified my dad and took excellent care of him. Marco lent me his personal camera for two days and uploaded all the pics for me. Sebastian was an absolutely excellent guide.
Aqua Adventures is relaxed about the things you should be relaxed about, but very on the ball for safety, cleanliness and quality dives.
Longest possible dive times. Nothing frustrating from a divers perspective.
